The problem

Home bakers sell on Instagram and take orders in DMs. It's chaos: half-paid deposits, missed allergen disclosures, double-booked Saturdays, a lost reply buried in 47 unread chats. Worse, any pre-packed-for-direct-sale baking is legally required to carry a full ingredient and allergen label (Natasha's Law) — and most home bakers don't even know that, which is real liability waiting to happen.

What we built

OrderJar is one shareable link the baker drops in their Insta bio. Customers walk through a calm flow — occasion, date, tier, flavour, decoration, photo inspiration — and the baker's capacity logic closes Saturdays the moment they're full. Quote → 50% deposit (Stripe) → balance reminder 3 days before → done. Every order auto-carries an ingredient and allergen declaration, signed by the customer at checkout. The baker sees one clean order book, by week, with bake-day prep prioritised automatically.

What it does

Features, no fluff.

One public order link — drop it in your Instagram bio, no website needed

Capacity logic — set max orders per day, Saturdays auto-close when full ('1 slot left' → 'Booked out')

Tier-based auto-quote (Small / Medium / Large × flavour × decoration) — no more 'how much for…' DMs

Natasha's Law allergen declaration auto-generated from your recipe library, signed at checkout

50% deposit on accept (Stripe), balance reminder 3 days before delivery

Bake-day timeline — what to bake when, sorted by collection date and prep time

Inspiration gallery — past orders the customer can browse and say 'something like this'

Customer file — repeat customers don't re-fill the form, and you remember their dietary needs
